Oct. 31st - New Album Update and Kickstarter - We're getting closer to getting this thing on the road. Sam is getting ready to launch a Kickstarter campaign to raise the funds to get into a pro studio and record the album live with his band! Keep an eye out here for updates and more info. For now, here's a home video/recording of one of the new songs that will be on the album.
The Lincoln County Process is one of Sam's many projects, featuring Jen Sygit (vocals, guitar, banjo), Geoff Lewis (Drums, Cajon), and Joe VanAcker (Upright and Electric Bass). They combine original songs from Sam and Jen, along with covers from some of their favorite artists including Tom Waits, Bob Dylan, Brandi Carlile, and in this video they play "Rolling On" by Mark Knopfler & Emmylou Harris, followed by a brand new song by Sam Corbin at the end of the video.

Back in May of 2013, the band played the annual Buses By The Beach festival in West Michigan and with the help of Will Piaz and a couple of microphones hoisted up in the middle of the audience, the set was captured and given to us to give away to the fans! Sam Corbin & Jen Sygit - Live @ the Red House
On October 13th, 2012, Sam and Jen performed and recorded a house concert in Grand Haven, MI hosted by Jim, Marianne, and Lexi Fischer. After 7 years of playing music together, they have finally released their first official duo album, "Live @ the Red House". And even better, it's being released as a FREE online download as a gift to their fans.
As of right now, there are two ways to stream and download this album.
1. Click the "Live @ the Redhouse" link at the top of the page to stream or download the album from this website. Once on the page, right click on the download links to download the tracks, or just click on the links to stream.
2. Go to Archive.org to download or stream. For some reason Archive.org seems to have uploaded at a slightly better quality and sounds better to my ears, but I'm having trouble deciding. I might be going crazy. Also through this site, you can download the entire concert (all the separate tracks are included in one folder), or just individual tracks at a time as well. To download the entire concert at once, click on the vbr zip link on the left side of the page. To get to our page at Archive.org, click on the link below.
New Album This Summer 2012! (or maybe a little later, sorry)
Well, as you probably have noticed, it's not done yet, and unfortunately it's not even close. I've written a nice handful of new songs for this project, and thought they were ready to record and release. I spent a lot of time in the studio so far, and I'm realizing that the songs need some rewriting. With the help of Billy Harrington, Aaron Allen, and a number of other friends, we've gone back to the drawing board and hope to get back into the studio in the near future. I'll let everyone know when we have an idea of when this project might get released. I'm sorry for the delay, but just want the songs to be as good as they can be before releasing an album.
Recording has officially begun for the new EP! I'm really excited to finally get moving on this project, and with the help of Billy Harrington (drummer extraordinaire and producer) we're shooting for a summer release. This EP is going to be different than anything I've ever done, with a fully Electrified Roots/Blues feel. Stay tuned to the website for some sneak peaks, and video footage!
